Louise Ashmore

PhD Student

Louise did her MA in Language Documentation and Description 2005-06 at SOAS funded by a Commonwealth Scholarship. Her dissertation was on the role of video in language documentation. She is now working on a PhD on the Wik-Ngathan and Wik-Ngatharr language spoken in Cape York, northern Australia, accessing archival materials collected by Prof Peter Sutton (South Australian Museum) and others.
