Preparing your deposit

For many fieldworkers, preparation of your materials for deposit into the archive starts when you plan your project, and select your equipment. Advice about fieldwork, audio recording, data handling and related topics can be found at

Before depositing your data with ELAR, consider:

• the formats and standards used to prepare your data
• ELAR's metadata and deposit form
• ELAR's collection policy
