Introduction to Nakh-Daghestanian (Caucasus)

The Nakh-Daghestanian language family is one of the three indigenous language families of the Caucasus. In this course we will look at some typologically interesting features of the Nakh-Daghestanian languages that have attracted the attention of not only caucasiologists, but also of linguists from other fields. We will be concerned with all main areas of grammar, but the focus will be on morpho-syntax.
