Programme & CoursesThe summer school program contains a number of courses designed to train participants in the techniques of language documentation and description. Monday through Friday, there will be three sessions of courses. Session One will take place from 9:30-12:00, Session Two will take place from 13:00-15:30, and Session Three will take place from 16:00-18:30. Upon registration, students will select the courses they will follow each session. All sessions include a short break midway through the time period. More information on each of the courses can be found below. Please note whether courses are one or two weeks in length. Applications will be treated on a first come, first serve basis. It is therefore possible that a course you wish to attend is already full. If this situation occurs, you will be notified and asked to select a second option while remaining on a waiting list for your first option. For certain courses, basic educational requirements are necessary and noted along with the course description on the website. In certain cases, you may be unable to attend a course if your background is judged to be insufficient. In that case, you will be able to select a different course to follow. Moreover, we reserve the right to reject applicants as we see fit (e.g. if, in our opinion, basic requirements are not met). Short Courses
