Fees & Registration

The summer school tuition fee includes course fees, study materials, Wednesday evening extracurricular activities, coffee and tea during the breaks, Monday night welcome drinks, and the Student Conference on Saturday, July 10, 2010.

The fees for the summer school differ depending on whether accommodation is included or excluded, whether you will be attending for one- or two- weeks of courses:

Cancellation policy

Students who provide notice of cancellation on or before 25 April are eligible to receive a refund of their tuition and/or housing payment (minus administrative costs or finance charges). After this date, refunds for cancellations cannot be guaranteed.


Visa requirements

Requirements for European Economic Area (EEA) nationals and Swiss nationals:

Summer School participants who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Swiss nationals need a passport or national identity card to enter The Netherlands.

The EEA countries are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Irish Republic, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

When you enter The Netherlands you should use the separate lane marked 'EEA/EU' where it is available. Immigration officers will check your passport or national identity card to make sure that it is valid and belongs to you.

Requirements for participants needing a visa

Summer School attendees who are not nationals of the European Economic Area or Switzerland will require a valid passport and must obtain entry clearance before traveling to The Netherlands. More information about visas and whether or not you need a visa can be found at nuffic.nl.
