Language policy for endangered languages

This lecture examines the theory and implementation of language policy and planning (or management), with the aim of understanding the complex factors that go into decision-making at individual, family, local, national and international levels. It will include discussion of definitions and frameworks, but focus on real-life examples and implications for fieldworkers.
