edited by Peter K. Austin, Endangered Languages Academic Programme,
SOAS and featuring SOAS authors Phil Jaggar, Friederike Lüpke,
Lutz Marten and Nicholas Ostler has just been published by
Thames and Hudson.
The book will be launched by Professor David Crystal (University
of Wales, Bangor), writer, editor, lecturer, and broadcaster.
He has published over 100 books including The
Cambridge Encyclopedia of Linguistics, The Cambridge
Encyclopedia of the English Language, Pronouncing
Shakespeare, Language Death, Language
and the Internet, English as a Global
Language, and most recently
Txtng: The Gr8 db8.
