Summer school on language documentation

A two-week summer school on language documentation will be held from July 4-16, 2011 at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.

The school is sponsored by the Volkswagen Foundation, Hannover, Germany.

Mandana Seyfeddinipur and Friederike Lüpke will participate as resource persons.

Participants:

The maximum number of participants is 25.

A fifth of these will be students studying Afrikanistik in Germany.

The other 20 will come from East Africa and they will be selected so that each country in the region will be represented.
